I got these for my rv as well as my jeep that sits for weeks on end. The solar panels came packaged ok. No loose parts or missing parts. You receive both a cigarette lighter plug as well as alligator clips. Both adaptors attach easily to the solar panel. One of my complaints are the suction cups used to attach to the windshield. They don't suck! Meaning, they constantly fall of the windshield. You do get 4 suction cups in the packaging. I had to play with the cups to find the 2 that worked the "best".
Doing a little testing on my amp draw of my jeep. I found that is pulls .088 amps with no key and all accessories off. Sticking a panel to my windshield resulted in a reduction of my amp draw to .017 amps. This is better, but not quite what I was wanting. I bought this as a christmas present to give, but wound up keeping it for myself. We had a severe cold snap and the car started showing signs of hard-starting one morning. I put this on the front dash and plugged it up to the cigarette lighter. Since then, we've experienced NO weak turn-overs when starting the car, even on the coldest mornings. So I guess this little puppy is helping to keep our battery at it's peak charge just as it claims. I'd buy another one in a minute!

So far this Sunforce controller has met my expectations. I connected it to a 10 watt solar charger and it tells me that it is charging. I have been using it for about 3 weeks without any problems.

I bought the solar planel in hopes that it would supply enough power to my battery to keep it from dying. Well. Without the solar panel my car sterio among other things would have my battery completely drained. I went out yesterday and two weeks later the car started right up. Keep in mind this charger will not charge your battery from completely dead. It will however keep your battery from dying as fast. I'm impressed!

The product does what it said it does. Measured the voltage on a sunny day on a single panel and it put out about 20VDC. You could imagine what four of the panels can collect. The panel is now on the roof of the house collecting some sun for the battery. Even through the rainy weather it still collects whatever it can, so far so good. As a precaution of the wiring on the connectors I bound the two with wire tape to keep the water out and so far it works. I will go check the wiring later in the months and see if the wires are affected by rainy weather. Although, the inverter is a modified sine and putting out about 200 watts. Yes it's expensive, no it wont run your 72 inch plasma... After much heel dragging and beating my self up over the price I purchased one of these panels. If you understand how 12 volt power works the thing is beyond wicked!I had basic 12 volt knowledge from working on cars and using power inverters in them but nothing like some of the reviewer's here. First off don't be scared to read and learn, I am terrible with math but after a little research it became much less complicated to know what the panel will and will not do. To simplify it in full Nevada sunlight (In December no less) this will run a 30 watt (DC) product in real time. If you need AC power expect about 15 watts unless you have an efficient (expensive!) inverter. I have a friend who also has this panel that has run his Nintendo Wii (45 watts!) in real time...

I mounted this turbine in my back yard on the recommended schedule 40 galvanized pipe at about 20' high. My location does not get consistent wind from one direction which is the only way this turbine will spin. Even in gusty conditions of 15-20 mph the turbine rarely spins more than a few revolutions and has not produced any measurable power after a month. If you don't have a steady wind from one direction this turbine will not produce any power at all. You would be better off with a vertical turbine or one with larger blade surface area. The specs say 8 mph start up, that means a consistent 8 mph wind from a single direction. For the money you would be better off with a single 80 watt solar panel.

Ok folks I will have to admit, this is one foreign made product that surprised me once it was in place. I store a portable welder in an area where there is no electricity. I had entertained the idea of running electricity to that shed for years, but saw this solar panel advertised at a reasonable price and thought 'what the heck'. The battery on my welder is old and I figured no way this thing is gonna keep it charged. Well I was wrong. Not only does the Coleman Solar Charger keep it charged, but it has a VERY strong charge and I haven't had those iritating booster cables out since I installed the charger. I plan to purchase one or two more of these to maintain my jet ski as well as boat.
