First off let me say I have bought this same panel from Northern tools (in a package). I received my items, in a huge box with alot of rattling going on inside, when I opened the box I found two panels just thrown in the box with a couple pieces of packaging to somewhat protect anything inside. Remember, I bought this from amazon because I liked the first one I bought at Northern tools ( in a package). The panels didnt come with instructions, nor any packaging that had the extra connections or the suction mounts that should have came with the panels but didnt. I should have gone back to Northern tools, panels dont work like the one from Northern tools and one was cracked from crappy shipping by amazon employee that doesnt care about his job. Do NOT buy.

So far this Sunforce controller has met my expectations. I connected it to a 10 watt solar charger and it tells me that it is charging. I have been using it for about 3 weeks without any problems.

I bought this as a christmas present to give, but wound up keeping it for myself. We had a severe cold snap and the car started showing signs of hard-starting one morning. I put this on the front dash and plugged it up to the cigarette lighter. Since then, we've experienced NO weak turn-overs when starting the car, even on the coldest mornings. So I guess this little puppy is helping to keep our battery at it's peak charge just as it claims. I'd buy another one in a minute!

My Sunforce 5 watt trickle charger is used to keep up a battery on my travel trailer while is sits not being used. It works great and does just what I wanted it to do. As far as the company I bought it from, it got here promply and is just what they said it was.

I bought this as a gift. Due to the past reviews I was worried that it would arrive broken. IT DID NOT! It was still shipped by Fed Ex as of 12/2009 and arrived in one piece. none of the panels were broken. Since it was a gift (and it's the dead of winter) it hasn't been set up yet so I don't know the final outcome hence only 4 stars. But if you are on the fence due to shipping worries - don't fret!

Yes it's expensive, no it wont run your 72 inch plasma... After much heel dragging and beating my self up over the price I purchased one of these panels. If you understand how 12 volt power works the thing is beyond wicked!I had basic 12 volt knowledge from working on cars and using power inverters in them but nothing like some of the reviewer's here. First off don't be scared to read and learn, I am terrible with math but after a little research it became much less complicated to know what the panel will and will not do. To simplify it in full Nevada sunlight (In December no less) this will run a 30 watt (DC) product in real time. If you need AC power expect about 15 watts unless you have an efficient (expensive!) inverter. I have a friend who also has this panel that has run his Nintendo Wii (45 watts!) in real time...

I mounted this turbine in my back yard on the recommended schedule 40 galvanized pipe at about 20' high. My location does not get consistent wind from one direction which is the only way this turbine will spin. Even in gusty conditions of 15-20 mph the turbine rarely spins more than a few revolutions and has not produced any measurable power after a month. If you don't have a steady wind from one direction this turbine will not produce any power at all. You would be better off with a vertical turbine or one with larger blade surface area. The specs say 8 mph start up, that means a consistent 8 mph wind from a single direction. For the money you would be better off with a single 80 watt solar panel.

This is an excellent panel at a great price. I use it with a HQRP solar controller and a Walmart 115ah deepcycle marine battery and couldn't be more pleased.

I'm buying another one for a little car because it works so well in my truck. I know it's not a charger, but, the range on my key mounted remote starter increased after a couple days of installing the maintainer. I was skeptical, but, this thing rocks. My lights are brighter, and I'm really happy with this purchase. Even if you drive all the time (like I do), I don't see why you wouldn't have one of these on every car you own. This thing is great.
